Underdogs joined Everything is New to create "Urban(R)Evolution", one of the most ambitious and comprehensive group exhibitions fully dedicated to revealing the history, evolution and diversity of urban-inspired art.
Taking place at Cordoaria Nacional, one of the most iconic buildings in Lisbon, this exhibition includes site-specific installations and artworks by some of the most influential and world-renowned artists of the urban art movement, including ±MaisMenos±, Add Fuel, AkaCorleone, André Saraiva, Barry McGee, Felipe Pantone, Futura, Jason Revok, Lee Quiñones, Martha Cooper, Maya Hayuk, Nuno Viegas, Obey SKTR, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Tamara Alves, Vhils and Wasted Rita.
Curated by Pauline Foessel and Pedro Alonzo, and using Martha Cooper's legendary photographs as a narrative backbone, Urban(R)Evolution is profoundly unique in that it not only chronicles the fascinating journey of urban art, but evidences the plurality of approaches, aesthetics and meanings that embody the nature and spirit of this movement. On view until 3 December 2023
