Festival Iminente was created as a project to promote synergies and connections between different cultures, artistic fields and peoples.
During a week, in the context of Oficina Iminente, the artists Gonçalo Mar, Halfstudio, ±MaisMenos± e Tamara Alves ran workshops with a group of local social solidarity organisations to work with youths from 4 communities in Lisbon. This initiative resulted in the production of public art murals in Bairro do Rego, Quinta do Loureiro, Curraleira e Per 11, created with the contribution of its inhabitants, in a demonstration of the key role that art plays in the union of society and its populations.
