Ernest Zacharevic // solo exhibition

Taking its title from the universal children's game, this Lisbon debut by Lithuanian visual artist Ernest Zacharevic alludes to the carefree imagination and nostalgia belonging to our adolescence, often lost in adults. Presented here as a metaphor, the concept acts on our lost memories and mental associations, triggering emotional responses in a playful manner while making us believe that anything can happen. Employing a more traditional approach in his delivery, Ernest presents for the first time complete dedication to a unified theme through an exploration of various media – from detailed oil paintings to origami sculptures.
